Euphoria – baby lock coverstitch sewing machine

The Euphoria has an innovative air threading system. With the ExtraordinAir system, a bellows activated at the touch of a button threads the looper thread reliably and quickly. It also has an ingenious mechanical needle threader, thanks to which the threads land in the appropriate eye in just three simple steps. Both systems ensure that threading the Euphoria is child’s play. Simply select the desired thread, insert it, press the corresponding button and the thread is threaded automatically.

The entire sewing project often stands or falls with the stitch reliability of a coverstitch machine, as this finishing seam is often the last step before completion. The differential feed can be used to significantly improve the appearance of the sewn pieces. Unwanted seam puckering, unsightly gathered or wavy seams can easily be prevented, because the differential feed ensures optimal fabric feeding. In addition, the setting options can also be used to deliberately achieve imaginative gathered effects.

Another pleasant feature of the baby lock Euphoria is the side-mounted foot lift. This means that the foot can be easily raised and lowered from the front with the right hand. This enables you to see easily if the foot is still up, and ends groping around the back of the machine to find the lever.

Alternatively, you can use the knee lift. This leaves both hands free to guide the fabric safely, as the presser foot is raised or lowered with the knee. The sewing machine  has an extra high, two-stage foot lift of up to 8 mm, enabling even thicker layers of fabric to fit between the foot and feed dog.

baby lock machines are one of the few machines with which you can sew without fabric confidently. This means you can sew both into and out of the fabric. You are therefore not forced to pay meticulous attention to the beginning or end of the seam. The empty chains are easy to hide. However, they can also be used for decorative purposes – they look particularly beautiful on the triple coverstitching, in order to create thread tassels or couching thread.

The automatic thread delivery ensures beautiful seams – with any thread and on any fabric. Would you like the option of fine-tuning your seams? Then the Euphoria has just the right features. Using two dials on the front of the housing, you can individually adjust the thread tension for the looper and needles until the seam meets your personal requirements.

If the foot is raised, the feed dog is automatically lowered. This makes it considerably easier to insert heavier or fluffy fabrics. It is also considerably easier when having to stitch over crosswise seams.

You can store utensils in the practical accessory compartment located under the spool holder. The machine includes:

There is a magnetic pad on the accessory compartment, e.g. for storing needles.

While most machines use angled needles that can push and damage the fabric, the needles on baby lock sewing machines have vertical needle penetration. This exclusive feature protects your fabric and prevents the needles from being damaged. It also gives you greater power when sewing.

All baby lock machines are extremely user-friendly. The above-mentioned features are complemented by a range of additional conveniences. For example, all machines have long-lasting and powerful LED lighting, a stable telescopic thread guide and precisely adjustable foot pressure. The Euphoria also boasts a magnetic needle storage tray.

The needle screws are also secured with a small plate, meaning there is no longer the need to tighten the screws when a needle is removed.

Sewing always makes fibres fly, necessitating regular cleaning. The side cover on the Primo can be opened, which makes cleaning much easier.

The Primo also has an important safety feature, in that it will not work if the covers are open or the foot up. This reduces potential sources of error.
