The enspire features the JetAir system, an innovative air threading system. A bellows activated by a lever threads the loopers reliably and quickly.

Simply select the desired looper thread, insert it into the threading port, press the lever and the thread is automatically fed into the looper eye of the enspire – for both loopers and regardless of the threading order. It couldn’t be easier!

The enspire is also equipped with a mechanical needle threader.

Rolled hems, flatlock seams or border stitches: the many possible uses of overlock stitches invite you to experiment and decorate. Specialist and bulk threads enhance the decorative effect and give every sewn piece a very special touch.

The differential feed can be used to significantly improve the appearance of the sewn pieces. Unwanted seam puckering, unsightly gathered or wavy seams can easily be prevented, because the differential feed ensures optimal fabric feeding. In addition, the adjustment options can also be used to deliberately achieve imaginative gathered effects

When the stitch width dial is adjusted, the stitch finger and the upper blade move together. Thanks to this special technology, the seam width can be adjusted very easily. The actual seam width changes and not just the cutting width as is the case with conventional machines. Overcuts and undercuts are prevented and there is no need to adjust the amount of looper thread. The stitch becomes wider or narrower without the need for annoying and time-consuming adjustment.

Clearly arranged and accessible at all times, the stitch length can be set with just one dial. The stitch length can be varied from 0.75 to 4 to suit the project. The setting values are on a simple scale. At the same time, you can easily switch to the rolled hem function without having to carry out any additional steps. In the rolled hem setting, the stitch finger is in a lowered position. This enables a very narrow seam.

The enspire has an extra high, two-stage foot clearance of up to 8 mm. This means that even higher layers of fabric fit between the feet and feed dog.

When sewing two-thread seams, the enspire’s subsidiary looper/converter can be easily activated for 2 thread sewing. Since it is firmly attached to the upper looper, it cannot be misplaced or lost.

You can store important utensils in the practical accessory compartment located under the spool holder. The scope of delivery includes

While most machines use angled needles, which can push and damage the fabric, the needles on baby lock sewing machines are inserted vertically, piercing directly into the fabric. This exclusive function gives better needle penetration for heavier fabrics. It also gives you greater stitch reliability and strength when sewing.

All baby lock overlock machines are extremely user-friendly and intuitive. The features mentioned above are complemented by a range of other benefits. For example, all machines have a durable and powerful LED light, a stable telescopic thread guide, a needle catch tray, high stitch security and precisely adjustable foot pressure. The enspire’s short blade/needle distance supports clean seam formation.

Wherever you sew, fibres fly. This applies to overlock machines more than any other sewing machine. Regular cleaning is essential due to the sewing dust. It prevents large amounts of fluff from piling up under the stitch plate and impairing sewing. The side flap on the enspire can be opened, which makes cleaning much easier.

The enspire also sews with the foot raised and the flaps open.
