Swing Guide for Cover Stitch Machines – Flexible, Efficient, Effortless

Application:

1. Assembly: Attach the Swing Guide to your cover stitch machine using the screws provided.

2. Attaching the device: Mount the desired attachment onto the Swing Guide and adjust it to the optimal position. This only needs to be done once.

3. Sewing: Use the attachment as required and simply swing it to the side when it is not in use.

The ideal solution for anyone who wants to work efficiently, precisely and comfortably in the cover area – perfect for frequent device use.

By using the cord inserts for the Primo swing foot along with the cord guide, the creative cover stitches are given an unmistakable three-dimensional, pintuck-like decorative look. The cord guide prevents the cords from tangling and ensures correct guidance. In contrast to the normal cord foot, the fabric takes centre stage here.

The stitch guide makes precise topstitching in the ditch easier by pressing on the seam line. It also allows for even spacing (up to 7 cm) to hems or decorative seams.

The use of this guide enables precise and straight hemming as well as sewing in the round. This guide is not recommended for sewing curves. The straight edge can be moved so that the distance between the needles and the fabric edge can be varied – up to a maximum width of approx. 3.5 cm.

The seam guide enables precise and straight hemming. In addition, decorative seams can be set precisely and the fabric edges guided exactly. The width of the distance to the fabric edge can be adjusted using the sliding bar. The stitch guide can only be used for cover stitching.

Thanks to the adjustable edge, this fabric guide enables precise and consistent stitching of the hems/ turn-ups and thus ensures the correct seam distance throughout.

The fabric guide makes it easier to keep an even distance when sewing turn-ups or hem edges.

The tape guide, which can be adjusted up to a width of 60 mm, maintains an exact distance from the edge of the fabric. It can be used to sew on ribbons, tapes and braids, up to 6 centimetres wide, in a straight line. You can experiment with different widths and variations of the tape guide to give you the desired effect.

The plain hemmer is an attachment that makes it possible to create precisely turned under and neatly sewn hems. The fabrics feed through the hemmer with the wrong side facing upwards – this makes the looper thread visible as a decorative seam on the right side of the fabric.

Plain hemmer – available in the following sizes:

• 1/2’ = approx. 13 mm
• 1/4’ = approx. 6 mm

Straight fabric edges can be easily folded over and sewn down evenly with the help of the single downturn feller. Based on industrial practices, it makes folding and sewing long straight lengths easy (e.g. curtains or similar). With the single turn-over or fold, an even and attractive result is achieved in one step.
